COURSE OVERVIEW
All users of aluminium phosphide for the control of vertebrate pest species (Brown rats, moles and rabbits) must hold an approved qualification in its safe and effective use. Without an approved qualification aluminium cannot be legally purchased or stored. These restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of the user and others and to ensure the continued availability of the pesticide.
The RSPH safe use of aluminium phosphide for the control of vertebrate pests is the leading qualification which allows the purchase, storage and use of aluminium phosphide containing products (Phostoxin & Talunex).
The qualifications helps candidates to understand the safe and effective use of aluminium phosphide its transport, safety and disposal.
This two-day Killgerm safe use of aluminium phosphide course will enable candidates to understand not only the theory behind the use of aluminium phosphide but to develop their practical skills to apply the product in a safe and controlled manner with the use of dummy products and expert tuition.
The course includes the assessment procedures necessary to be awarded the qualification to use the product.

All of these elements will be completed on day two of the training and will be fully supported by your course tutor.
Upon completion of the two-day course candidates exams portfolios and assessment are collated by the tutor and submitted for final approval from an external assessor. Once approval from the RSPH assessor is achieved the product can be legally purchased and used.
