Online exam made available to delegates approximately a week after the course. Please note that delegates require a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, plus photo ID, to take the online exam. A trial exam is sent initially, with the full exam sent later.
Please note that the exam is closed book – notes are not permitted and only the delegate must be present.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is designed for Pest Control Technicians with prior approved training and certificates in rodent control (in line with Natural England licensing requirements) who wish to register / apply for a licence for use of rodent glue traps. This is to meet the licensing requirements and the Glue Traps (Offences) Act 2022 for England. Course material is based on the Natural England licensing requirements for rodent glue traps.
Please note that although passing this course is a licensing prerequisite, it does not automatically mean you obtain a licence. The Natural England licensing process must still be followed. Note that this course is relevant to the licensing system in England only.
The RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management is a prerequisite for licence applications, in conjunction with this course.
