This half-day, classroom-based course gives you the opportunity to expand your rodent control knowledge with direct access to our team. Sessions run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and are hosted by either Rob Simpson or John Raby — both Killgerm Area Sales Managers with extensive experience in the industry.

Stewardship Update – 2025

  • Introduction to CRRU UK’s Code of Best Practice (2024/5 update)
  • Strengthening measures for rodenticide stewardship
  • Legal authorisation changes for SGARs
  • Importance of compliance to maintain professional use of rodenticides, in readiness for 1st January 2026 changes

Environmental Risk Assessments (ERA)

  • Understanding Environmental Risk Assessments in rodent control
  • Identifying risks to non-target wildlife and mitigation strategies
  • Practical guidance for completing ERAs on treatment sites
  • Legal implications of ERAs

Direct Bait Application in Burrows

  • Justification for burrow baiting in rodent control
  • Best practice guidance for bait placement and minimising risks
  • CRRU UK recommendations for responsible burrow baiting
  • Risk mitigation strategies, including non-target species protection

This FREE OF CHARGE course provides the 3 CPD points required to meet upcoming CRRU changes in 2026.
