What is the course duration?
Rodent Control – 1 day
Insect Control – 2 days
Pest Control Refresher/Update – 1 day

Online access for 1 month is given to all delegates
Can the course access duration be extended if required?
Please contact the Killgerm Training team who can change/extend your access period if required.
I am unable to login?
Q: When will I be locked out of my account after failed login attempts?
A: You will be locked out after 10 unsuccessful login attempts.
Q: What happens if I keep entering incorrect details in the “Forgot Password” form?
A: If you attempt to reset your password unsuccessfully 10 times, you will be locked out.
Q: Over what time frame are failed attempts counted?
A: All failed attempts are counted within a 30-minute window.
Q: If I’m locked out, how long will I have to wait before trying again?
A: You will be locked out for 2 hours before you can try again.

When will I receive my exam login details?
Rodent Control
The trial exam links are sent every Friday, expiring the following Tuesday, giving candidates time to check system compatibility.
The real exam will be sent on the following Tuesday with a 2 week period for completion. If the exam is not taken the candidate will receive a fail letter.
Insect Control
The real exam link will be sent within 5 working days with a 2 week period for completion.
Glue Traps
The trial exam links are sent every Friday, expiring the following Tuesday, giving candidates time to check system compatibility.

When will I receive my exam results/certificate?
Principles of rodent control – candidates receive a provisional certificate, sent by BASIS approximately 6 working days after the exam is taken. The final verified certificate is sent by post within 20 working days of taking the exam
Principles of insect control – candidates are informed immediately of their result by an online notification and separate email. The final certificate is sent by post within 20 working days of taking the exam
Principles In The Use Of Rodent Glue Traps Under Licence – candidates receive their verified certificate, by email, within 20 working days of taking the exam
What happens if I fail the online examination?
If candidates fail their first attempt of the online examination a second attempt will automatically be issued.
